About the Customer Executive Role
The Customer Executive will represent PepsiCo in the market and work with distributors and sales representatives to execute business plans and achieve sustainable sales growth.
The role involves market planning, distributor management, sales target achievement, outlet expansion and coaching of sales representatives.
Key Responsibilities
Market & Sales
- Deliver monthly secondary sales targets and drive gross revenue growth.
- Plan market routes efficiently to improve productivity.
- Increase the number of outlets served and improve distribution.
- Increase SKU availability across existing outlets.
- Ensure product availability and rack execution according to the planogram.
- Build strong relationships with customers in the assigned market.
Training & Team Development
- Conduct one-on-one training for sales representatives.
- Help sales representatives develop their business and selling capabilities.
- Set monthly targets for individual salespeople.
- Work with sales teams in the market and provide coaching.
- Monitor salesperson performance through regular sales reports.
- Communicate incentives and motivate the team to achieve targets.
Distributor Management
- Support distributor/hub/spoke appointment and retirement activities.
- Manage distributor business health and ROI.
- Ensure adherence to joint business plans.
- Support recruitment and retention of sales representatives.
- Minimize product expiry and stale stock by following FIFO and stacking practices.
- Track timely delivery of orders in the market.
- Ensure food-compliance requirements are followed.
- Help distributors develop their PepsiCo sales capabilities.
