Meesho Hiring Software Developer Engineer – Android
Meesho is looking for an experienced Android developer to join its Platform team as an Software Developer Engineer – Android. This is a senior individual-contributor opportunity for professionals who enjoy solving large-scale performance challenges and building Android systems that can support millions of users.

About the Role
As an SDE IV – Android, you will work on the core technology that powers Meesho’s Android experience. The position involves solving complex engineering problems, improving application performance and creating reusable frameworks that can be used by multiple development teams.
You will also work closely with Product, Design and Backend teams to make sure technical improvements translate into a better experience for users.
What You Will Work On
- Build scalable and reliable Android components and systems.
- Improve important performance metrics such as page latency, cold-start time and memory usage.
- Develop reusable frameworks, SDKs and libraries for Android teams.
- Work with modern Android technologies including Jetpack and Jetpack Compose.
- Improve modularization and Gradle/build performance.
- Investigate Android performance bottlenecks and identify practical solutions.
- Develop tools, linters and CI integrations to improve development quality.
- Participate in technical discussions and code reviews.
- Mentor engineers and help teams follow Android development best practices.
- Work with Product, Design and Backend teams on platform-level initiatives.
Who Can Apply?
